Artist Statement

My work illustrates a character’s life through either traditional or digital mediums. I like capturing moments that voices emotions through body language and facial expressions, especially when the body and face disagree. Characters in books are always putting on facades around one another, but the reader gets to see what’s really happening inside their heads. Showing those kinds of moments through art is my goal.

I work to improve my art so I can effectively express what I want to say through original characters. I want to tell people that while life is hard, it is worth living. Even when everything looks black, there will always be a little light that is worth striving for. They can overcome whatever struggle is dragging them down through my comics and animations. By using sequences of images ensures that the message will come across the way I intend. They can overcome whatever struggle is dragging them down through my comic. An Assassin’s Tail combines these ideals with interesting characters in a fantasy world.
