Characters

When I started this project, I already knew what most of my characters looked like. It was just a matter of creating the artwork for them. I wanted to keep the style simple, but make sure the wasn't too kid cartoon like. I chose to do something more detailed than children's media, but less detailed than superhero comics.

I did the sketches on paper first, then transferred them to Procreate for inking, coloring and shading. Once they met my satisfaction, I imported the art into Photoshop to add the boxes and text. Once that was to my liking, I worked on combining the pieces to create art book pages. As you will notice, there are some characters here that do not appear in the comic. These characters had to be cut do to time constraints, but they do play a large role in the volumes to come.
